Win Low Bids on NYSDOT Projects

ALBANY—The New York State Department of Transportation recently announced the selection of 13 apparent low bidders for project work in the Hudson Valley regions.

Yonkers Contracting Co. Inc. of Yonkers, NY, was the lowest of six bidders at $35,411,130. for pavement rehabilitation of Routes 987F – SH 9480, 987G – SH 9488, in the Village of Elmsford and towns of Greenburgh and Mount Pleasant in Westchester.

Morano Brothers Corp. of Croton-on-Hudson, NY was the lowest of nine bidders at $8,566,996.52 for pavement resurfacing on Route 1 and Putnam Avenue in the Village of Port Chester and Town of Rye in Westchester. Morano was also the lowest of six bidders at $7,722,104.50 for pavement resurfacing at Routes 133 and 100B in the towns of Greenburgh, New Castle and Ossining and Village of Ossining in Westchester. Morano was also the lowest of eight bidders at $9,220,000. for roadway resurfacing at Route 303 in the towns of Clarkstown and Orangetown in Rockland.

J D’Annunzio & Sons, Inc., South Plainfield, NJ, was the lowest of five bidders (and one informal) at $9,207,000. for culvert replacements and rehabs at various locations in the towns of Cornwall, Highlands, Montgomery, New Windsor and Woodbury in Orange County.

AARCO Environmental Services Corp. of Lindenhurst, NY, was the lower of two bids at $1,548,508. for Geotech soil subsurface explorations requirements at various locations in Columbia, Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Ulster and Westchester.

American Field Services Inc. of Nanuet, NY, was the lower of two bids at $649,000. for biennial mowing at Palisades Interstate Parkway/Route 6 at various locations in Orange and Rockland.

Verde Electric Maintenance Corp. of Mount Vernon, NY, was the lowest of four bidders at $6,754,552.26 for highway pedestrian safety improvements – various locations in Westchester County.

Verde Electric Maintenance Corp. of Mount Vernon, NY, was the lowest of three bidders at $4,665,730.15 for pedestrian safety improvements at various locations in Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland and Ulster.

Northbrook Contracting Corp. of Peekskill, NY, was the lowest of three bidders at $7,221,520.42 for culvert replacements and rehabilitations in the towns of Esopus, Hurley, Lloyd, Shandaken and Ulster in Ulster County.

A. Colarusso & Son Inc. of Hudson, NY, was the lowest of three bidders at $4,461,461. for highway resurfacing at Rte. 308 in the towns of Milan and Rhinebeck, and Village of Rhinebeck in Dutchess.

Sullivan County Paving & Construction of White Lake, NY, was the lowest of five bidders at $3,447,578.66 for retaining wall improvement on NY Route 52 in the Town of Delaware in Sullivan.

Crisdel Group Inc. of South Plainfield, NJ, was the lowest of four bidders at $13,939,046.94 for pavement preventative maintenance at segments of Route 17M at various locations in Orange.
