ALBANY—The New York State Department of Transportation recently announced the selection of four apparent low bidders in the New York City and Hudson Valley counties.
Ground Control Excavating Inc. of Warwick, NY was the lowest of six bidders at $5,897,621.80 for highway where and when at various locations in Columbia, Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Ulster and Westchester.
Power Line Constructors Inc. of Clinton, NY was the lowest of three bidders at $958,576.00 for signal/wireless vehicle detection system at various locations in Dutchess, Orange and Ulster.
Bothar Construction LLC of Binghamton, NY was the sole bidder (one bid was declared informal) at $3,769,461.30 for retaining wall improvements along Route 52 in the Town of Delaware in Sullivan.
Verde Electric Maintenance Corp. of Mount Vernon, NY was the sole bidder at $620,967. for signal work on Route 22 at Edgewood Road in the Town and Village of Scarsdale in Westchester.
