ALBANY—The New York State Department of Transportation announced recently the selection of two apparent low bidders for work in the Hudson Valley region.
Verde Electric Maintenance Corp. of Mount Vernon, NY was the sole bidder at $1,158,958. for traffic signals, transfer switches with ROW,
at various locations in Columbia, Dutchess, Orange, Rockland, Ulster and Westchester counties.
New England Property Maintenance of Mahopac, NY was the lowest of five bidders (and one informal) at $1,198,496. for hazardous tree removal on the Taconic State Parkway in Dutchess and Putnam counties.

WHITE PLAINS—The Westchester County Department of Public Works recently reported the selection of two apparent low bidders for work at county facilities.
Alon Industries Inc. of Patterson, NY was the lowest of seven bidders at $269,424. for fence repairs at DPW-maintained facilities at various locations in Westchester.
Peter J. Landi Inc. of Hawthorne, NY was the lowest of 11 bidders at $8,765,675. for the Bronx River Pathway reconstruction, the Bronx River Reservation from Kensico Dam Plaza to Greenacres Avenue in the City of White Plains, the towns of Greenburgh and North Castle and the Village of Scarsdale, NY.
