CIC Names Contractors Guerrerio, DeNicola

To Trade Association’s Board of Directors

TARRYTOWN, NY—Roxanne Guerrerio, the President of the specialty subcontractor KCM Contracting, Inc., and Rick DeNicola, Vice President of Operations of J. Fletcher Creamer & Son, Inc., were elected to the Board of Directors of the Construction Industry Council at its quarterly meeting on June 26 in Westchester. The announcements were made by John Cooney, Jr., who is the executive director of the association with its headquarters here in Tarrytown.

Ms. Guerrerio’s company is certified with numerous public agencies and councils a minority- and women-owned business enterprise (MWBE). These include: New York State Empire State Development and the Port Authority NY/NJ as an MWBE; the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) as an Economically Disadvantaged Women-owned Small Business (EDWOSB); the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council as a Woman-owned Small Business (WOSB); and both the NYC School of Construction Authority and the NYC Small Business Services as an MWBE.

Ms. Guerrerio holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and an MBA in Finance, both from Iona University. She is also a Certified Public Accountant and continue to maintain her professional licensure. She is a lifelong resident of Westchester where she continues to reside with her husband and two sons. 

Mr. DeNicola has been part of the Creamer enterprises, serving in numerous capacities for nearly 35 years. His expansive experience with the company dates to the early-1990s when he became superintendent at Creamer. Over the coming years, he expanded his project management responsibilities to include utility, water main rehabilitation and heavy highway projects. Following a series of advancements in the organization, he was appointed in 2016 to his current position, Vice President of Operations, where he leads the company’s construction and fleet operations.

Mr. DeNicola has supervised numerous major utility and heavy highway construction projects—among  the most memorable being the reconstruction of the Route 4 and Route 17 Interchange in Paramus, NJ, the United Water New Rochelle NYDEP Shaft 22 Interconnection, and the construction of the United Water Toms River Berkley Treatment Plant.

Mr. DeNicola graduated in 1991 from the State University of New York with an Associate Degree in Civil Engineering Technology. He resides in Harrington Park NJ with his wife of 28 years and their daughter and son.

The CIC is a regional trade organization that represents leading contractors, subcontractors and specialty enterprises in construction, building and associated material supply industries. The association encompasses an eight-county Mid-Hudson and downstate region of Westchester, Rockland, Orange, Dutchess, Putnam, Ulster, Sullivan and Columbia.
