WHITE PLAINS—The Westchester County Department of Public Works reported that C.A.C. Industries Inc. of Long Island City, NY was the lowest of eight bidders at $11,329,575 for the replacement of the Quaker Road Bridge over the Croton River in the Town of Cortlandt and Village of Croton-on-Hudson.
Alon Industries Inc. of Patterson, NY was the lowest of seven bidders at $269,424 for fence repairs at DPW-maintained facilities at various locations in Westchester.
Peter J. Landi Inc. of Hawthorne, NY was the lowest of 11 bidders at $8,765,675 for the Bronx River Pathway reconstruction, the Bronx River Reservation from Kensico Dam Plaza to Greenacres Avenue in the City of White Plains, the towns of Greenburgh and North Castle and the Village of Scarsdale, NY.
In Albany, the New York State Department of Transportation announced recently the selection of two apparent low bidders for work in the Hudson Valley region. Verde Electric Maintenance Corp. of Mount Vernon, NY was the sole bidder at $1,158,958 for traffic signals, transfer switches with ROW, at various locations in Columbia, Dutchess, Orange, Rockland, Ulster and Westchester counties.
New England Property Maintenance of Mahopac, NY was the lowest of five bidders (and one informal) at $1,198,496 for hazardous tree removal on the Taconic State Parkway in Dutchess and Putnam counties.
