ALBANY—The New York State Department of Transportation recently announced the selection of four apparent low bidders for work in the New York City/Hudson Valley regions.
Westmoreland Construction Inc. of the Bronx was the lowest of seven bidders at $18,510,478.40 for highways and bridges, where and when, general repairs at various routes in NYC in the boroughs of the Bronx, Kings, New York, Queens and Richmond.
Westmoreland Construction Inc. of the Bronx was the lowest of five bidders at $7,143,235.00 for highway tree removal/trimming at various locations in Nassau and Suffolk counties.
Annseal Inc. of Johnson City, NY was the lowest of three bidders at $1,770,545.00 for highway crack sealing at various locations in Columbia, Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Ulster and Westchester counties.
H&L Contracting, LLC of Hauppauge, NY was the lowest of four bidders at $5,750,000.00 for pavement preservation on the Jackie Robinson Parkway and Brooklyn Queens Expressway in Kings and Queens counties.
Petrillo, NUA and Three D Maintenance Secure Westchester DPW Projects
WHITE PLAINS—The Westchester County Department of Public Works recently announced the selection of three apparent low bidders for work at facilities in the county.
NUA Construction Corp. of Ardsley, NY was the lowest of 11 bidders at $606,000 for new roofing membrane and repairs at Woodfield Detention Facility at 20 Hammond House Road in Valhalla, NY.
Petrillo Contracting Inc. of Mount Vernon, NY was the lowest of five bidders at $2,246,161.00 for resurfacing and related improvements to Westchester Avenue, C.R. #112 from Bowman Avenue to Oak Street a distance of 0.60 miles in the Village of Port Chester, NY.
Three D Maintenance Corp. of Hawthorne, NY was the sole bidder at $300,000 for street sweeping at Westchester County Airport in the towns of Harrison and North Castle and Village of Rye Brook, NY.
Note: The Westchester DPW reported it received no bids on two contracts: Boiler Maintenance and Inspection at the Central Heating Plant at the Grasslands Campus in Valhalla, NY, and Maintenance of IQ/PowerNet System at the Grasslands Campus in Valhalla, NY.
