Why this professional choice: I chose this profession because the industry is so new and ever evolving. I want to take part in paving the path to clean and luxurious products.

What are the biggest challenges in your work: Getting everyone aligned on decisions. Not everyone will always be happy with the end result, and that is something I had to adjust to.

Biggest surprises faced upon entering the field: Discovering how flexible I must be. In the facility where I work, my position is the only one that collaborates with nearly every other department. This can be quite demanding at times.

Words of wisdom for a young person entering the field: Always keep an open mind. Whether it concerns other people’s ideas or your own career path. Things can always surprise you.

Future Goals: I would like to go back to school and either study law or get my master’s in a specified sub-field of chemical engineering.

Favorite Interests or hobbies: I am very interested in Formula 1 racing and music.
