The undersigned hereby applies for membership in the CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY COUNCIL OF WESTCHESTER AND HUDSON VALLEY, INC. and hereby subscribes to the CIC’s Constitution and By-Laws and Rules and Regulations governing as they presently exist or as hereafter amended, or modified by the CIC Board of Directors.

If this application is accepted, my organization will be expected to pay annual dues.

Approximately 15 percent of CIC’s dues income and 30 percent of national association dues income are spent to lobby local, state and national governments for beneficial laws and regulations pertaining to the construction industry. As a result of provisions of the 1993 Tax Act effective in 1994, the portion of association dues spent on lobbying are no longer a tax deductible expense for members.
