Advance Testing Now Under SOCOTEC Brand

NEW YORK—SOCOTEC recently announced the completion of the rebranding of Advance Testing, bringing the Campbell Hall, NY based company under the SOCOTEC brand while reinforcing its long-term commitment to delivering construction materials testing, geotechnical engineering and inspection services for critical infrastructure projects across the United States.

For more than three decades, Advance Testing has partnered with transportation agencies, public owners, contractors and engineering firms to help deliver safe, resilient infrastructure throughout the Northeast. Joining the SOCOTEC brand reflects the company’s continued evolution while preserving the expertise, relationships and responsiveness clients have relied on for years.

Today, SOCOTEC brings together more than 1,700 professionals, more than 40 offices and more than 25 laboratories across the United States, providing clients with access to a broader network of technical specialists while maintaining the local teams that understand their markets and projects.

The expanded platform strengthens SOCOTEC’s ability to support infrastructure programs of every scale. Clients also gain access to complementary expertise, including environmental consulting, specialty engineering, building performance, forensic investigations, project advisory and advanced laboratory services.

“Advance Testing has always been built on technical excellence, trusted relationships and a commitment to helping our clients deliver successful projects,” said Patrick Kiernan, president of Advance Testing. “Joining the SOCOTEC brand allows us to build on that legacy by giving our clients access to a much broader range of expertise, national resources and specialized capabilities, while continuing to work with the same local teams they know and trust.”

Over the past several years, SOCOTEC has significantly expanded its presence across the United States through strategic investments and acquisitions, creating one of the country’s leading technical consulting, engineering and testing organizations. This national footprint enables the company to support increasingly complex infrastructure programs while continuing to invest in people, laboratories, technology and technical expertise.

For existing Advance Testing clients, the transition is straightforward. The legal entity, contracts, project teams and day-to-day contacts remain unchanged. Clients will simply begin seeing the SOCOTEC name and visual identity across proposals, reports, invoices and other communications, company officials stated.

“America’s infrastructure demands technical partners that combine deep local knowledge with national capabilities,” said Nicolas Detchepare, CEO of SOCOTEC USA. “Advance Testing has earned an outstanding reputation in construction materials testing and geotechnical engineering. Bringing the company under the SOCOTEC brand strengthens our ability to support clients with broader expertise while preserving the responsiveness and technical excellence that have made Advance Testing a trusted partner for decades.”

The rebranding reflects SOCOTEC’s broader strategy of bringing together leading technical experts under one national brand, enabling clients to access a comprehensive range of engineering, testing and consulting services throughout the life cycle of infrastructure and building projects.

On Sept. 1, SOCOTEC reported that it had also completed the rebranding of American Engineers Group. Founded 65 years ago, AEG serves public and private clients throughout the Mid Atlantic. It is headquartered in Mechanicsburg, PA, and operates a network of four offices serving the region.
