ALBANY—The New York State Department of Transportation recently reported the selection of four apparent low bidders for work in the Hudson Valley and New York City regions.
Road Safety Systems LLC of Hammonton, NJ was the lower of two bids at $3,305,527.68 for sign requirements contract downstate DOT Region 8, 10 and 11, at various locations in the Bronx, Columbia, Dutchess, Kings, Nassau, New York, Orange, Putnam, Queens and Richmond counties.
Paleen Construction Corp. of Somers, NY was the lowest of four bidders at $3,808,579.32 for sidewalks and ramps improvement at various locations in Dutchess and Putnam counties.
Road Safety Systems, LLC of Shamong, NJ was the lowest of three bidders at $1,804,620.91 for guiderail rehabilitation on I-84 in the towns of Fishkill and East Fishkill in Dutchess County.
Colarusso & Son Inc. of Hudson, NY was the lowest of four bidders at $2,191,626.00 for pavement resurfacing on NY Route 9W in the City of Kingston and towns of Esopus and Ulster in Ulster County.
