ALBANY—The New York State Department of Transportation recently announced the selection of four apparent low bidders for projects in the Hudson Valley/New York City metro regions.

JR Cruz Corp. of Holmdel, NJ was the lowest of five bidders at $4,189,778.16 for pavement resurfacing—on Route 45 in the Village of New Hempstead in the Town of Ramapo in Rockland County.

MetroExpress Services Inc. of Brooklyn, NY was the lowest of three bidders at $741,505.00 for biennial graffiti removal—response contract, at various locations in Columbia, Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Ulster and Westchester counties.

Royer Contracting Inc. of Highland, NY was the lowest of four bidders at $4,344,912.00 for bridge painting— for the Cross County Parkway  and Hutchinson River Parkway at various locations in Putnam and Westchester counties.

Verde Electric Maintenance Corp. of Mount Vernon, NY was the lower of two bidders at $871,850.00 for safety improvements—signal upgrades—NY Rte. 59 and NY Rte. 304 in the Town of Clarkstown in Rockland County.

WHITE PLAINS, NY—The Westchester County Department of Public Works recently reported the selection of three apparent low bidders for work at county facilities.

Laura Li Industries LLC of White Plains was the lowest of eight bidders at $2,712,852.00 for new salt storage shed facilities at Croton Point Park, Lasdon Park and Sprain Ridge Park in the Village of Croton-on-Hudson, the Town of  Somers and the City of Yonkers.

Mace Contracting Corp. of New Rochelle, NY was the lowest of four bidders at $1,542,000.00 for replacement of secondary clarifier No. 2, Blind Brook Wastewater Treatment Plant in Rye, NY.

American Petroleum Equipment & Construction Company Inc. of Walden, NY was the lowest of three bidders at $361,878.00 for maintenance service for fuel systems and related equipment of the Department of Environmental Facilities at various county locations in  Westchester County.
