67th Annual BCA Golf Outing Draws
75 Golfers, 105 Dinner Guests
WHITE PLAINS, NY—The Starter’s sheet of tee-times was brimming with more than 19 golf foursomes who entered the 2024 BCA Golf Outing here at Westchester Hills Golf Club on Mon., June 4. It turned out to be a glorious day of warm weather and camaraderie shared by contractors, suppliers and members of organized union labor.
The competition turned out to be even keener, with two foursomes posting the same lowest score of 61 in the “shamble” format. Why not decided the winners by a coin flip or even a round of darts? Yet it would take a careful review of USGA rules that decided the winning foursome. Bragging rights and gift certificates to the WHGC Pro Shop were awarded to:
First Place Team Shamble of Brendon Bergin and Jason Barton of E-J Electric Installation Co., Carlito Holt of DTS and Phil Dinan of Callahan Construction.
Second Place Team Shamble was Frank Sestak, Tom Milton, Mike Palloto and Jim Alva of Ornamental Iron Workers Local 580.
Third Place Team Shamble was Mark and Matthew Fante, Mirko Carrea of Darante Construction, Ltd., and John Gisondi of Peter Gisondi & Co., Inc.
Closest to the Line was carded by Jason Barton of E-J Electric Installations; Closest to the Pin by John Gisondi of Peter Gisondi & Co., and the Putting contest winner was Peter Zarychta of Thalle Industries, Inc.
