NYSDOT Selects Apparent Low Bidders On 11 Projects in NYC/Hudson Valley

ALBANY—The New York State Department of Transportation recently announced the selection of 11 apparent low bidders for project work in the Hudson Valley/New York City regions.

Bette & Cring LLC of Latham, NY was the lowest of six bidders at $17,859,059. for bridge rehabilitation—the Bridge Street over Delaware River in the Town of Delaware and Damascus Township, PA in Sullivan County.

Morano Brothers Corp. of Croton-on-Hudson, NY was the lowest of three bidders at $17,302,661. for resurfacing of Route 100 in the Town of Greenburgh and City of Yonkers in Westchester County.

Ecco III Enterprises Inc. of Yonkers, NY was the lowest of six bidders at $23,972,000. for highway reconstruction at US Route 6 at Annsville Circle for flood mitigation in the Town of Cortlandt in Westchester County.

McNamee Construction Corp. of Lincolndale, NY was the sole bidder at $5,594,000. for bridge rehabilitation at various bridges in the  towns of East Fishkill, Fishkill, Greenville, Montgomery, Patterson, and Southeast in Dutchess, Orange and Putnam counties.

Verde Electric Maintenance Corp. of Mount Vernon, NY was the sole bidder at $955,235. for signal requirements – various locations in Columbia, Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Ulster and Westchester counties.

Power Line Constructors Inc. of Clinton, NY was the lowest of three bidders at $519,176.68 for sign installation and replacement in various locations in Schoharie, Sullivan and Tioga counties.

Paleen Construction Corp. of Somers, NY was the sole bidder at $2,000,000.00 for a highway maintenance job order contract at various locations in Columbia, Dutchess, Orange and Ulster counties.

  1. Colarusso & Son Inc. of Hudson, NY was the lowest of three bidders at $8,708,292.00 for culvert rehab/replace at various locations in Columbia, Dutchess and Putnam counties.

Bove Industries Inc. of East Setauket, NY was the lowest of five bidders at $13,658,375.44 for where and when pavement preservation at  various locations in the Bronx, Kings, New York, Queens and Richmond counties.

Gianfia Corp. of Hawthorne, NY was the lower of two bids at $3,538,522.02 for tunnel lighting system replacement at Route 9D in the towns of Fishkill and Philipstown, NY in Dutchess and Putnam counties.

Tilcon New York Inc. of Parsippany, NJ was the sole bidder at $6,325,000.00 for resurfacing on Route 45 in Village of New Hempstead and Town of Ramapo in Rockland County.

WHITE PLAINS—The Westchester County Department of Public Works recently reported the selection of apparent low bidders on three projects at facilities in Westchester.

Mace Contracting Corp. of New Rochelle, NY was the lowest of eight bidders at $7,575,000. for Jackson Avenue Pumping Station Rehabilitation, Bronx Valley Sanitary Sewer District in the Town of Greenburgh, NY.

McNamee Construction Corp. of Lincolndale, NY was the lower of two bids at $42,658,900. for Parking Garage Rehabilitation – Phase II at the Michaelian Office Building at 148 Martine Ave. in White Plains, NY.

ThermoDynamics Corp. of Yorktown Heights, NY was the lower of two bids at $262,890. for boiler maintenance and repairs at various locations in Westchester County.
